The TWA Flight Center, designated a historic landmark at John F. Kennedy International Airport, is a symbol of mid-century modernism. Inaugurated in 1962, this architectural marvel, crafted from reinforced concrete with fluid, organic curves, was designed by Finnish-American architect Eero Saarinen. Its roof, reminiscent of a bird in flight, perfectly captures the spirit of the Jet Age and features a touch of "googie" design, reflecting the technological optimism of the era, closely tied to aviation and space exploration.

In 2019, the TWA Flight Center was fully restored and transformed into the exclusive TWA Hotel, preserving the grandeur and legacy of this iconic terminal.
