The Seiko 5 Sports SRPH73K1 men's watch is inspired by one of the most followed, read and viewed comics in the world: One Piece. Written and drawn by Eiichirō Oda, the story follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a boy whose body developed the properties of rubber after accidentally ingesting the devil fruit Gom Gom. Gathering around him a crew explores the greater route in search of the legendary One Piece treasure chasing the dream of becoming the King of the pirates. Seiko with this wristwatch wanted to dedicate a 5 Sports Street series to comics, thus creating 6 watches inspired by the different characters.
The watch is built with a 42.5mm steel case and steel strap, 10 ATM water resistance and a sapphire crystal. All models are powered by a 4R36 automatic movement with a 41 hour power reserve and manual winding option. The caseback is transparent with engraved symbol and motivational phrase and straw hat. Limited edition of 5000 pieces worldwide engraved on the back.
