The Cuervo y Sobrinos company was founded in 1882 by Cuervo and his grandchildren. This group of extraordinary highly skilled entrepreneurs and goldsmiths hailed from Asturias, a region in northwestern Spain. The 'Historiador Asturias clock honors those brave emigrants who, in the 19th century, sailed to the Americas in search of fortune.
